As a long term student of Swamiji’s  it’s my great privilege to have been instrumental in designing Swamiji’s three CBSE schools in Uthandi and Orissa with experience in prestigious institution inland and abroad (Direct recruit of Ministry of Education, Singapore). It is very fulfilling to plan the working of Uthandi School which caters to economically under privileged and mainly first generation learners. It is completing the full circle having worked for the privileged class and later for the economically deprived section. It is no doubt a challenging task on hand, yet very fulfilling as we see these children evolve very well.

The school motto ‘Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye’ meaning that is ‘The education which liberates’ is in keeping with Swamiji’s vision.

SYM (Sculpting Young Minds) an extension of the curriculum which is formulated to give the topping of Self Knowledge with the usual syllabus from Std- I to X. Teachers are trained for handling the course material.

ASPA (Akshar School of Performing Arts) is the wing that trains the children in fine arts like Dance, Music andMridangam.  This activates the development of right lobe of the brain of the children when the left lobe is developed by the normal curriculum. This balances the personality of the children.

It is impossible to achieve the stupendous task without the team effort of the Principal, qualified committed teachers and parents for having chosen this school & many well-wishers. We join hands together in thanking God for having given us an opportunity to serve the society through the children with the ancient wisdom as the backdrop.
