A FIESTA OF MUSIC AND DANCE-12th SUDDHANANDA KALA UTSAV-2022
The pleasant evenings of Kala Utsav in August was filled with classical music at Suddhananda Ashram grounds, when the 12th Suddhananda Kala Utsav began on 12th August,2022. Swamiji’s dream to have music festival for the residents and neighbourhood of Uthandi was a grand success, with a three day music festival.
Swami Vasudevanandaji, Swami Iswaranandaji, Swamini Bhoomavidyanandaji, Our Director Mrs.Vijaya Murthy mam, and our Administrator Sri.Murthy inaugurated the Utsav.
12th kala utsav was started on 12th August, 2022 with the music by “Ms.Kamalaja Rajagopal and Mr.Rajagopal .
The artistes entertained the audience by their singing.
The Principal introduced the artists.
Our Director spoke about our dear, dear patron Sri.M.C.T Pethachi to whom the programme was dedicated to. Also, she spoke about the great legend Sri T.k.Govinda Rao the grandfather of the artists of the day.
Swami Iswaranandaji and Swamini Bhoomavidyanandaji honoured the artistes.
The second day of the festival was the Music and Dance programme by “Our students of Akshar school of performing Arts” [ASPA]
Suddhananda Vidyalaya-Uthandi.
ASPA faculties Mrs.Rehmanath and Mrs.Gopika Mithun was the guests of honour.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the singing and dancing of our ASPA students who received the great applause from the gathering.
The chief guest and the artists were honoured by Swami Iswaranandaji ,Swamini Bhoomavidyananda, and Mrs.Sethu parvathi mam.
Our Director appreciated the performance of our ASPA students.
The third day of the festival was the dance programme by Miss.Meera Krishnan student of Kalakshetra.
Smt. Indu Jayanthi Varma Founder, Director of Tapasya Kala Sampradaya dance school was the chief guest.
Each and every one enjoyed the whole programme.
Swamini Bhoomavidyananadaji and Brahmacharini Karunachaitanyaji honoured the chief guest and the artist.
In all the 3 days the role of rendering Welcome speech, the vote of thanks was done by class X students and the Cultural Secretary.
The three day music and dance festival was concluded on 14th August 2022, making the audience to look forward to the continued festival in the years to come.
